As I mentioned in another post, the Tupperware container for storing 2 litre containers of ice cream is no longer available. Previously, I made a suggestion to store ice cream in Tupperware Modular Mates, but then I realized that you could also use the Large Deep Rock N Serve container.

Tupperware Rock N Serve
The Large Deep Rock N Serve container should have been my first suggestion, as it’s an airtight container and is designed for freezer storage.
Are you looking for airtight Tupperware containers? You’ll be happy to know that you’ll only find airtight containers at Tupperware Canada. When buying airtight Tupperware containers you’ll ensure that your food stays fresh for as long as possible.
Unlike cheaper plasticware from dollar stores and department stores, Tupperware uses good quality plastic and has tight fitting seals which helps guarantee freshness. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that once the seal is placed on the container, your food will be just as fresh as when it came out of its packaging.

I’ve had many people ask me about the Tupperware Ice Cream Container, which holds a 2 litre carton of ice cream. Unfortunately this container isn’t produced anymore, which has many people scrambling to find airtight containers to keep their ice cream fresh.

Tupperware Modular Mates
Quite often Tupperware will bring containers out of retirement so there is hope that this handy container will once again be available. My only container recommendation for storing ice cream would be to use a Modular Mate, as it’s an airtight container that comes in various shapes and sizes that would fit a 2 litre carton. The Square or Rectangle Modular Mate containers would be your best bet.

If part of your Tupperware product is lost or has damage not covered by the lifetime warranty (e.g melting) you can most likely get a replacement part. Replacing Tupperware parts is easy: simply find the 2-3 digit number on the bottom of the container and let your consultant know that you’d like to purchase that part.
Depending on the part you wish to replace, it’s sometimes more cost-effective to replace the whole product. For example, the Season Serve container (base) is $15 for replacement, yet you can often purchase a new Season Serve on sale for about $20. It can also be expensive if you have multiple parts to replace, making the purchase of a new, complete product more practical.

Most Tupperware products are dishwasher safe, but there are a few that are not. Please read the care instructions with each product to learn how to care for your Tupperware.
Products not recommended for the dishwasher:
- Ice Prisms Bowls
-
- All items with artwork (to protect the art, as the lifetime warranty does not apply to artwork)
Once you know if your product is dishwasher safe, please make sure that you always use the top rack of the dishwasher. If the Tupperware is placed on the lower rack you run the risk of melting the plastic. If an item comes in contact with the heating element in your dishwasher it will not be covered by Tupperware’s warranty.

Tupperware Products make prefect gifts for a baby showers because unlike clothing that is quickly outgrown, Tupperware will grow with the child for many years. I’m currently putting a gift together for my cousin’s first baby and it’s going to include all items needed for feeding. Since I don’t know the sex of the baby, choosing to buy feeding items makes buying ahead of time much easier.
My cousin’s basket of Tupperware gifts is going to include: 2 sets of Bell Tumblers with Sipper Seals, Divided Dishes, Ideal Lit’l Bowls, Snack Cups, and the Disney Mickey Meal Set. My daughter is almost 3 now and we still use all of the above mentioned items, which makes me happy knowing that my cousin’s child will get years of use out of this shower gift.
